Inspired by the movie Fast n Furious Tokyo Drift and the Japanese car import culture.

We wanted to show a Mazda Rx-7 in the brilliant lights of Shibuya, Tokyo Japan.

 

Responsible for lighting, texturing, character modeling and composition. In collaboration with Sean Gardner.

This was one of the first projects I did in collaboration with Sean. We both have a love of cars and specifically the JDM culture. Sean was tasked with modeling the Mazda and I was in charge of the environment, lighting, texturing, and character modeling. It was very challenging as a novice, to share tasks and have to wait for another to finish before being able to move forward.
